Silver Course You don't need an engineering degree to understand the fundamentals of petroleum refining! This exciting programme is designed to introduce non-technical oil industry members to the fascinating field of petroleum refining. Learn how a refinery works and how refinery operations affect global oil and product prices.

Includes Online Pre-study Module
This course is accompanied by a preparatory course available online. Delegates will receive a web voucher as part of their joining instructions upon confirmation of registration. By taking advantage of this "blended" learning approach, in-class time and learning are optimized.

There are no prerequisites for this programme. This is an entry-level course where we purposely keep everything in non-technical terms!

Class delegates include anyone who needs to understand how this cornerstone of the petroleum industry works. New members of the industry will be given a great introduction to the industry. Marketing personnel will grasp the intricacies of how the products they market come to exist. Those from the service side of the industry (brokerage, software, consulting) will get a first-hand view of this the most fundamental aspect of the oil industry.
