Capt. Ashraf Khela is a distinguished maritime and oil & gas professional with over 34 years of combined experience in shipboard command and international consultancy. His career spans 16 years as a Master Mariner on oil and gas tankers operated by globally renowned companies such as SHELL, KOTC, and ADNATCO, and 17 years as a worldwide freelance instructor, auditor, and technical consultant.

Capt. Ashraf is IRCA-certified Lead Auditor credentials in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

Capt. Ashraf has conducted and facilitated more than 300 specialized training programs and seminars across the globe in both English and Arabic, serving a wide range of multinational organizations.

With more than 15 years of focused technical consultation, Capt. Ashraf is a trusted consultant & advisor in port operations management, onshore and offshore marine operations, and QHSSE systems, particularly within the oil and gas industry. He is renowned for his ability to align operational efficiency with international compliance, delivering impactful results through strategic audits, risk assessments, and tailored capacity-building programs.

Capt. Ashraf has a 12 years’ experience as a QHSSE & Marine Operations Regional Director at QMAX Drilling Waste Management and Petroleum Services Company with extended experience in Oil & Gas Marine Terminal Operations & Management at DPW.
